It’s hard to think about being content in any and every situation.
Paul says it’s a secret.
I tend to agree with him.
But I’m still hopeful. I’m hopeful because I have a God whose hand and presence will never leave me.
“Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence?” Psalm 139:7
There is nowhere I am that God is not also there.
Even when I’m scared.
Even when I’m stuck.
Even when I am on top of the world.
Even when I need money and need help.
Having faith is having assurance for the things I hope for.
“God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?” Numbers 23:19
I’m hoping for God to come through in my questions and in the fog of my uncertainty, and this hope I have will not disappoint.
I’m hopeful, but it’s not easy.
Let’s be hopeful today, because God sees us and He sees our needs.
“Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.” Psalm 62:8
